Experiments in Optics

Experiments in Optics is an ongoing project exploring the behavior of light and the curious nature of reflectivity. This work evolved through a series of workshops and happenings with a theater and arts program for individuals with diverse abilities. We used prisms, magnifiers, and reflective mylar, shaping and morphing the reflectivity of our bodies within the natural environment. These photographic compositions attempt to relay the energy, curiosity, and movement of these optical experiments by condensing the cinematic flow into single images.
